I don't know how the weather is treating you in your part of the world, but here in the Czech Republic, it has been a very nice October. Indian summer is the proper term I think. That's what everyone calls it around here at least. "A period of unusually dry, warm weather occurring in late fall." That makes sense. I have herd people say that phrase, but I never really knew what it meant until now. Before, I thought it was just a cool phrase people on Tumblr would caption all their hipster photos with. So thank you people of Czech Republic for teaching me some new English phrases!
After church, my roommate Josh and I went and grabbed pizza at a local restaurant just down the street. It was great to catch up with Josh. We have not seen a ton of each other as of late due to travel and me not really living at our apartment right now (because I am house sitting). In a few weeks Josh will be heading back to the states (Hawaii...yes, he is from Hawaii) for his "Home Stay" assignment where he will spend about 3 months resting, spending time with family and friends, connecting with supporters/partners, and raising more funds to be able to be out here in Czech for at least another two years. Josh is also a missionary with Josiah Venture who works primarily with camp ministry under national organization, KAM. I really have enjoyed getting to know Josh better over the last 5 months and growing to closer with him as a brother and friend. Josh loves Jesus and he loves Czechs. And his Czech is phenomenal! He has inspired me big time to work that much harder at learning the Czech language and believing that I can learn it! Please pray for Josh if you think of it over the next few weeks and months as he heads back to the states for a bit. Today was a great day!
Čau! Dobrou noc!
