Who new that traveling all day to go and pick up a visa could be so fun? I didn't, that's for sure. This past Wednesday I traveled to Bratislava, Slovakia to pick up my visa which will allow me to live and work in the Czech Republic with Josiah Venture. "But why did you need to go to Slovakia to get your visa? Aren't you living in Czech?" Well here's the deal. When you apply for a visa, you have to apply at an embassy outside of the country that you are applying to live/work in. The closest Czech embassy is located in Bratislava (about 3 hours away via train), therefore I went to Bratislava. The process was fairly simple. Fill out some paperwork containing every single piece of information that you can know about me, the reason I want to be in the Czech Republic, wait a couple weeks and boom, approved! Honestly though, I would have drained out every single ounce of energy in me doing this if it were not for the incredible help and care provided by my support team. I am so thankful for my organization and the care that they have provided along the way with helping me get settled into my new life here in Czech. Here are a few photos from my day trip to Slovakia! Cheers!
