New Year's Eve was a great day here in the Czech Republic. My friend Jonny came to visit for a few days before heading off to Israel with his family and a group from his church for a few weeks. I was very thankful for his visit. Jonny and I had plans to just hang out for the most for the day on New Year's Eve with another friend of ours, Tomaš. Although, our plans quickly changed when we were asked by another friend of mine, who's name is John, if we wanted to hike the local mountain for sunrise the next morning. It was a pretty easy decision. We decided that we would join John for the hike.
And thank goodness we did. It was one of the most amazing sunrises I have ever seen. I am thankful for friends, and friends that love to adventure and be in nature. The Czech Republic is an incredible country and I am in constant awe of the beauty that I am surrounded by. I am looking forward to continuing to meet new people and see new places here in the Czech Republic and all across Central and Eastern Europe.
